Daley's Clearing

Belanglo State Forest

The 2010 Intro to Sledding Day and Mush Up events will now be held at
Daley's Clearing in Belanglo State Forest
instead of the previously advertised Wingello Location.

Directions from Sydney

Travel time from Sydney is approximately 2 hours.

  

1.	Follow the Hume Highway / Freeway out of Sydney travelling south. Drive past the Bowral, Mittagong and Berrima exists.  Keep going.
2.	Turn right off the freeway to Belanglo State Forest approx 4km after the last of the three End Freeway signs. (The signs are 1km apart, ignore the first two.)   There is a sign on the left pointing right to 'Belanglo State Forest'.  You must be in the right-hand lane to exit, and use the turning bay provided to cross the freeway.
3.	The road to Belanglo State Forest is only sealed for the first 150m, before becoming dirt.  Keep driving on the dirt road another 4km then turn right (at the log cabin) into Daley's Road.   Drive down Daley's Road approx 200m until you arrive at Daley's Clearing.

You don't need a 4WD to reach Daley's Clearing, but please drive carefully on the unsealed sections of road.
