Agility and Obedience
The Siberian Husky Club introduced Agility and Obedience Trials into its show schedule in 2003. Although the Club does not hold these competitions every year, they are always run in conjunction with our May/June Championship show.
The Siberian Husky is a real dilemma when it comes to Agility or Obedience. The breed has the stamina, strength and speed to make them great agility competitors, however combined with the renowned Siberian traits of independence and curiosity, and the fact that they can easily become bored, they make for frustrating albeit fun and rewarding working companions.
Our clever huskies are out to prove they are more than just pretty faces.
