The Siberian Husky Club of NSW Inc.
The Siberian Husky Club of NSW Inc was affiliated with the Royal NSW Canine Council in 1992 (now trading as Dogs NSW) as a not-for-profit representative of the Siberian husky purebred dog breed in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Membership is open to anyone interested in the promotion and welfare of Siberian Huskies. The Club exists to fulfil the following principal objectives:
-
To promote and encourage the responsible ownership of purebred Siberian Huskies.
-
To promote and raise the standards and exhibiting of dogs.
-
To conduct exhibitions and shows.
-
To hold functions and lectures relating to Siberian Huskies and to the objectives of the club in general.
-
To be involved in any other activities that promote or encourage interest in the breeding, upkeep, training and general well-being and improvement of the Siberian Husky breed.
Meetings
The Club holds committee meetings at 7:30pm on the first Tuesday of every month (except January) in the Magpie Room at:
50 Smith Street
Wentworthville NSW 2145
Ph. 02 8868 9200
The meetings are for the administration of the Club rather than a fun event for members, and the agenda covers all Club activities. Everyone - whether member, guest or visitor - is welcome to attend. The Club holds its Annual General Meeting in September at the usual starting time and place, followed immediately by the ordinary September meeting.
Meetings may run for several hours, so the time before or after is often the best opportunity for introductions and for visitors to get to know the Club members present, and we welcome gatherings at these times, over dinner, coffee or a drink.
If you would like to find out more about the Club or would like to get involved, please come along and join us at the next meeting, or contact one of our Committee Members who will be happy to help answer your questions.
To bring any formal matter to the attention of the Club, we ask kindly that it be submitted in writing to the Secretary, to ensure that we can attend to it properly.
