The Siberian Husky Club of NSW Inc.

The Siberian Husky Club of NSW (Australia) was affiliated with the Royal NSW Canine Council in 1992 (now trading as Dogs NSW). Membership is open to anyone interested in the promotion and welfare of Siberian Huskies. The Club exists to fulfil the following principal objectives:
  • To promote and encourage the responsible ownership of purebred Siberian Huskies.
  • To promote and raise the standards and exhibiting of dogs.
  • To conduct exhibitions and shows.
  • To hold functions and lectures relating to Siberian Huskies and to the objectives of the club in general.
  • To be involved in any other activities that promote or encourage interest in the breeding, upkeep, training and general well-being and improvement of the Siberian Husky breed.  

    

  

Meetings

The Club meets at 7-30pm on the first Tuesday of each month (except January) at Wentworthville Leagues Club - Corner of Smith Street and Great Western Highway, Wentworthville. All members and guests welcome.
 
Club Events

The Club conducts two specialist breed shows during the year and caters for activities of all its members, whether you are a dedicated breed enthusiast or someone who loves the companionship of the Siberian.
Some of the events conducted by the Club are:
  • Championship breed shows held in May/June, October and November
  • Picnic in The Park - Nurragingy Reserve, Doonside.
  • Education Seminars
  • Harness racing, social sledding, fun runs & regular training days.
The Club also participates in many other events throughout the year such as the Royal Easter Show breed display, the Animal Welfare League open day, and various breed promotions at shopping centres.
